Social Networks and Harmony

Social Networks and harmony

This article of Techno Tactics is specially dedicated to our loving and respected viewers and acknowledge-rs. Today morning I was having my coffee, wandering that what must be the next recipe which I can serve to you all, and came a thought of taking you in the journey of another journey..!! Yes,  something which we all are involved and part of but never got a time to peep into that instinct of how “This Journey” has affected and manipulated “Our traditional way of socializing” in good as well as bad ways.

Recently one of my friend forwarded a joke on my cell which sounded somewhat like this

“1990’s

“What does the groom do?

Groom’s dad : Well..He’s a Doctor.

.

.

2013:

“What job the Groom do?

Groom’s Dad : There are 2 pages of Admin on Facebook. In fact there are more than 8000 likes on one of the Admin’s page. ”

I too shared the same joke on my social account and there were so many likes accompanied with laughs, giggles and comments from my friends and acquaintances.  But if we analyze this joke by sitting silently in one corner of the dark room where the moon light pierces from the window and a cool breeze is whispering something into the ears, we realize this fact that how  social networks have influenced our lives in a very dramatic yet influential way. Isn’t it..??

Social Networking – It’s the way the 21st century communicates today.

Lets take a “Time-Travel” into the past i.e. when there was no “WWW” into the picture, that is before 1950’s, socializing only meant  “The practice of elaborating the business and the number of business and/or social contacts by connecting through individuals.”

However, nowadays, when the term “social networking” is mentioned, websites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter are like the by-default options popping up into our cerebrum. Social networking has taken the world like an epidemic. With over 500 million users, Facebook is the leader in this worldwide phenomenon. It only took 9 months for Facebook to reach 100 million users. This is definitely something we cannot just ignore and brush off. This “Rara Avis” has changed and is changing our lives in every sense of what we speak, we walk, we breathe and we live. A jaw-dropping fact says that “Over 500 million people worldwide live their lives on Facebook.”Are you shocked after reading this???  I am sure you wont because you and me are also a part of this interactive and virtual world of  “SOCIAL NETWORKING”. A 19 year old teen named Mark Zuckerberg who created a new “FACE” for the world to communicate, who changed the vision in the networking world by his very famous social networking site “FACEBOOK”. Facebook today has become one of the most widely used brands.

Who would have thought that the only effort required to interact with our loved ones can be this EFFICIENT and so EASY. I mean just an internet connection, your social account and an interactive page “To-TWEET” or “TO-POST”.

Harmony comes into the picture when their is a social agreement between lives. Actually “Social networks and Harmony” has now become “Social Networks is equal to harmony”. There was a time when everyone used to share their lives in between walls of their houses whereas, now a days the same lives are shared on the walls of Facebook.Social network is that web where each and everything comes and is caught by the beauty of it. whether its your off-springs first birthday or your new business dimension, whether its your bad day or the happy moment, whether its your frustration for your boss or thanks-giving to your colleagues. Whether its pulling your friend’s leg on their photos or the cake-attack on their birthdays. In a nut-shell, each and every moment of life is celebrated in the form of simple text messages and smilies. The buoyancy as well as the potentials have increased significantly.  The clans have started to integrate into “ONE-NESS” of thoughts. You can find that socializing was never so entertaining and optimistic half-a-decade ago.  The benefits like integrity, mass movements, awareness, etc have started giving results for revolutions to take place at a much ease. The words like “LIKE, STATUS, COMMENT, TWEET, FOLLOW, WALL” have become our food for “Staying Healthy,  Happy and Wise” simultaneously. The actual scene of today’s human is such that “No matter how hard has been his day but as soon as he steps into the world of “Likes and Tweets”, he forgets everything and lo-and-behold comes a vibe of “Wowe… At-least someone is listening to my life “”. Social Network is a customized cum generalized making it more “Customer Is God” oriented. It has provided a platform on which everyone feels to share their joys and sorrows.

Such social environments have made many grandiose objectives favorable. Its an efficient tool through which potentials are getting a platform to reach an excellence.

The cyber space has completely changed the way we looked and “The way we look now..!!”. This social networks has expanded endlessly with the everyday expanding cyber space. Social networks have become a stronger medium to communicate with the person sitting in the other corner of the world.

Social networks have formed strong  grounds for sharing your thoughts, ideas, feelings, philosophies, joy, sadness, business in short we share our “lives”.  Aside from our personal lives, social networking through the Internet also has a great impact on businesses. It affects almost every business function of any organization from its front liners of sales and customer relations all the way up to administrative and human resource functions. The ambience of Online Marketing through advertisements has created a new aerodrome, pushing dimensions at their best building up strong market grounds and long queues of your trust worthy customers.

Social networking has opened a way and have made “People’s voice heard”.

As we all know that every coin has two sides, same is the case with every system. Of course there are some drawbacks of such networks like cyber bulling and harassment, hacking of your personal information and misusing them and so on. But there are ways to deal with them too.

One fact asserts that “India is tipped to become the largest Facebook market in the world by 2015.”

Well, this is what my thoughts believe about this era’s “ruling and strong movement”.

Also we would love to get your feed-backs and thoughts on this article, as well as on our move towards such topics. Everyone’s thoughts are welcomed here because this is for you only.

Would like to end up quoting MARK ZUKERBERG’s words that “When you give everyone a voice and give people power, the system usually ends up in a really good place. So, what we view our role as, is giving people that power.”

LIVE LIFE, SOCIAL-ENVIRONMENT’S SIZE.  BE BLESSED.

    I really like this post!

Covering a lot of ground in this post, but raising the importance of Social Media in our world.

There’s no doubt that Mark Zuckerberg is as prolific to the world as Bill Gates is, but my love affair with social media started way before Facebook – MySpace changed everything – Facebook just took its crown.

Love it or hate it, it’s here to stay in many forms – for people and business we need to embrace it, because it really has changed the dynamics of the world – in my opinion Social Media is a good thing. It breaks down barriers – geographical, cultural even language barriers.

    Great Job!

    HI charmie

I firmly believe that Social media is there to rule to the world and big Corporates really require them to get the feedback from their users,
Having said that, we are missing the personal touch and I still believe in meeting people personally and build relationship. My school of thought says – Everyone is special and has to be treated in a different ways.

Thanks Charmie, you are doing a great job, keep up the great work.

    Respected kumar sir,

I totally agree that somewhere that personal touch is missing but I think the way we live our life today which is so busy and running at a great pace hardly leaves any time for us to give that touch, social media is playing a great part, at least for now. And there’s always a hope that may be one day even this gap will be filled through such social sites. So fingers crossed. 🙂
And thank yo so much for throwing some light on this topic. Glad to get it.

    Interesting indeed!

I too believe that social networking it taking the world by storm and Facebook surely is the next big thing happening in our country, just as you mentioned, in the years to come it would be placed right on top.

Ah…I too have wished and wondered about a world with no social media, and how peaceful it would have been. However, with the positives, we also get the negatives or in short – it’s a debatable topic indeed. But yes, our lives were much more healthy and peaceful before the coming in of the Internet.

    Thanks for sharing. 🙂

There’s always a gift and a curse with anything we do. Whether it’s internet, cell phones, apps, etc. Technology is going to advance regardless. Things change and things evolve. I think people in general should take it upon themselves to instead of Tweet a friend all the time, they should call and make things personal again. Social Media should be used as a tool, not as the end all, be all for communicating.

    Hey John,
Glad to get your views on this article. Yes, you are definitely correct that somewhere something called PERSONAL TOUCH is missing which cannot be filled just by tweeting or posting. Relationships need to be warm enough which can be achieved only by talking directly.

    Regards
    Charmie

Great article. I am little bummed out that we have become so attuned to the net. I can’t sell my work without having a webpage or anything, which I think a bit sad. Canvassing local business in person just doesn’t cut it anymore. Thank you for your article!
