Listen, Learn and Lead : 3 Step to an Inevitable Blogging

img

Well, my very first question to you is that do you blog? If answer is assertive than tell me do you do it in efficient manner? Everyone of us want to be the best blogger but how many of us make a real attempt to achieve the same?

Most of the bloggers carry a very fuzzy idea right from the time they think to become a blogger or they presume to blog. Deep down even they don’t know the very cause or purpose to blog or say to write. And that is the reason why most of the bloggers are lost in the blogosphere. Such blogs have got a very short life span and then they die.

I am here to deliver a simple procedure which when followed can at least make your motive clear about why you blog:

1.) Listen:

You blog, okay that is understood but when is it going to be effective? Listen! Yes, listen to what people have to say. Listen what your audience is trying to convey to you. Listen to their queries, problems and analyze them. The blog is for people and their concerns; and nothing else. A blog is not a “blogger oriented” but is indeed “reader oriented”. Infact you commence after knowing how is your community or people going to concern you. If you do not know what the “want” is, you can’t “give”. Be honest with your audience. If you do not know what they want then ask. Unless and until you’ll not show your concern, they’ll not prompt you. Remember one rule in blogging:

“People do not read for logical reasons, they read for emotional reasons.”

2.)    Learn:

Okay now than you know what are the problems or what are the hurdles being faced, you start to analyze. Analyze the solution. You need to find out the best optimum solution. Your article must act like an algorithm, an algorithm which has minimum time complexity and which can give you the most optimum solution. You learn the difficulties and then you can come up with solution.I remember a very unique quote by Einstein:

“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.”

That is where the real blogging lies. We all know almost 90% of things happening around us, but we understand the least among it. We know what electricity is, we enjoy the benefits for the same, but do not understand how it works. In the similar fashion we are aware about the problems but we do not understand them. Understanding will relate and attach you emotionally with the people’s problem and you’ll deal with it as if it’s your own. And once you start doing that you’ll resonate along with your readers’ ultimately building trust.

3.) Lead:

How do you define the term “Lead” or “Leading”? is it just a mere way to just build more followers? No, it is infact the way to build more leaders. After you start giving solution to the people regarding the problems they face, they’ll come up with few more problems and all along will come a willingness to get it solved by only and only you. It is like a fission chain reaction, it multiplies. Whenever leading comes into the picture your ethics and honesty plays the major role, because you’ll be over a plane not only holding yourself but thousands like you, those thousands which are dependent on you, those who are trusting you for your solutions. When people start to get inspired and acknowledge your work you automatically start to lead towards excellence. There is as such no secret recipe.

“Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership.”

~ Colin Powell

So, this is all about what I think a blog is, kindly share your views regarding the same.

    Hi Charmie,

Yes indeed, if you are a blogger and you are not reading and learning from others, you might be left far behind. Besides, you need to be a good listener, just as you mentioned and listen to what your audience and readers want.

Write FOR the people, the humans, and you can never go wrong in blogging. Build relationships with fellow bloggers, reach out and connect with them and see the chain reaction follow up thereafter.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

BTW – Your CommentLuv plugin isn’t working.

Yes, I agree with these 3 steps. By doing so one can generate the interesting and innovative ideas and then can represent the same in an effective way.
Master key to come up with great and interest content.!

    Hi Charmie,

Oh my goodness yes. When I was first introduced to blogging I was told to just comment for the sake of getting more backlinks. I quickly found out though that these bloggers really knew a lot and I was so impressed with how much information they were giving away for free. I think I learned more from some bloggers than several courses I purchased.

You should read and learn from others because a lot of them are sharing their own experiences. They’re testing things that work and sharing their results with you or as you mentioned, they have the solutions to the problems you’ve incurred so learn from them.

Find out who your target audience is and then give them what they want. Answer their questions and solve their problems and they’ll love you forever.

Write as if you were having a conversation with your friends and they’ll connect with you so much more on that level and they’ll appreciate it too. I’m all about building relationships with your readers, subscribers and fellow bloggers. Make those connections and things will definitely begin to happen.

Great share, thank you and do have a wonderful weekend.

    Hello Charmie,
You are right! A blogger should write for his readers and concentrate on how to build strong relationships with his/her readers. Writing blindly will lead to- nowhere!
    Thank you for this post!

    Hi Charmie,

I think that those 3 points can all go a long way into creating an awesome blog. I however, believe that listening is the most important (of what you listed) and can help a blogger create better content and relationships.

    Hi Charmie,

Three excellent points for bloggers! We are on a constant learning curve as we keep reading other people’s blogs.

We must keep our eye out while reading what problems people have and thereby give good solutions to them. Usually, you can find that from blogs to social media. People will be talking about a new edge in the market place, and we need to listen to that.

Then whatever we learn, we can give out in a blog post to teach others. Listening is so important and yes, we have to take into consideration that we, as humans don’t “hear” everything. With that in mind, we need to put more effort to listening.

As we do this, we do become leaders in the field of our expertise. As long as we are giving good content on our blogs and also on social media, we can step into the shoes of leadership.

    Hello Charmie,
It looks like this is my first time here and i must say that you have interesting topics 🙂 .
Learning, listening and leading are what actually make up a good blogger. The best way to build a huge following is to listen to what your audience are saying, try to solve their problems the best way possible and believe you me, they will want to stick with you as long as you still blog.
Learning is what brings out the creativity in any blogger.
i do believe that to lead comes naturally. if you are not a born leader, you just can’t lead, right?

Nice post… Do have a lovely week ahead 🙂

Here i agree with Harleena as well, about of been a good listner. you need to be a good listner if you want to be a good learner.

Nice Post Charmie!!! All three points are good. And it’s important to know every thing about topic before you going to write post. Your post is perfectly suitable for this. Thanks 🙂

Correct reason, why a blog lost in the blogosphere. One should give more time to learn insted of just go and write any thing.
Learning more important, Because, “If you are not willing to learn no one could help you, but if you are willing to learn then no one could stop you.”
