Resolute your blog with a proper ATTITUDE this new year..!!

Let me begin my write up with a story

There was a man who used to sell balloons at a fair. Children would come there to buy those colourful balloons. Sometimes when his business would run slow he would just release one balloon in the air and seeing that balloon fly up in the air the children would come up to him to buy and his business would come on track. One day a little boy came up to that man and asked him out of curiosity that “What if you release that black coloured balloon in the air? Will that fly too?” and in return that balloon man asserted a beautiful answer to that little boy “It is not the colour that is making this balloon fly , it is what’s inside that balloon”.

A beautiful message, isn’t it? yes indeed it is..!

There are so many successful people round the world who are running an efficient persona of their own and we are always curious to excavate “THE SECRET BEHIND THEIR SUCCESS” and the answer is simple “ATTITUDE”. A study was made on all the leading and most successful Icons in the world. To each one of them the same question was asked that “What is that thing which makes you stand out? What is that quality which you search in your company employees?” They all gave the same answer “CORRECT ATTITUDE – A POSITIVE THINKING.” Also it says that to run any firm your thinking towards your work matters the most. It creates an all new aura of positiveness around you and increases the efficiency and outcome of your company.

So, today my point of discussion is on ATTITUDE TOWARDS YOUR BLOG. How does it affect your blog?

Attitude in simple terms means the approach towards your blog.

How do you build boundaries for your blog? It is very important for your blog to have a confined limit, a definite one within which you can play your strokes. Unless and until you specify the same, you will run out of everything and at the end will come up with something called “A MESS”. Make a set of rules that you and your blog both must follow while blogging. It is a systematic and clean approach to run a healthy blog.

I have seen many people in the blogosphere who think and are under an illusion that “Fine….if my blog is bad then it is bad…!! I can’t do anything in that..!!”. Wrong, wrong and totally wrong. If you want to sustain in this online world then you need to change the position of your arrogance from your mind to dustbin. Because though you say that “I don’t care…..” in reality you do, you do care a lot and you have to care. It is option-less. If you are still saying NO to my statements then just ask to yourself that “Are you not moved from the core whenever your traffic goes down? Are you not depressed when you find your Page rank sliding down?” ..!! Ahaannn so now I am able to see that “nod” on your face.

Imagine a situation where somebody comes and tell you “Your blog is rubbish… is a crap…and a series of criticism are thrown at you and your blog”. What will you do? You will act towards that statements impulsively and more-over you will let that statements affect your own thinking and trust on your blog. You will then inculcate that negative thinking so significantly that you will get the negative results. There is nothing more sound than your practical thinking. You are the creator of your own blog and so you the only person which must concern you is “YOU” yourself. Your good thinking will always pay-off at some or the other point in every realm of your journey.

You might be surprised to this point mentioned by me right now, but don’t worry I will justify the same. Hypothetical thinking is very important to predict some results of any event before its occurrence. It is like you become the “visionary” of your own blog and that is pretty cool because here you will develop the smartness to oversee the bad and adopt the good. It also helps you become a very good decision maker. It increases your reasoning capacity. But but and but…. this thing must not be dominating one because every time if you depend upon your hypothetical assumptions than you will be moved away from the real facts. Your hypothetical theorems or postulates are consequences dependent and so you need to be very precise. Your solutions or results may vary a little or even totally, so you need to strong enough to handle any kind of results.

So, this is it…!!!

I hope this resolution of changing the attitude towards your blog will prove to be helpful in a little or greater extent.

Hope this Christmas bring you lots and lots of happiness and smiles to your blog and you both.

Let the jingling of the bells bring you the good-better-best..!! 🙂

MERRY CHRISTMAS…!!! HO Ho Ho Ho…….!!!!

Lot of things to learn from this post my friend Charmie…You really provide the right attitude to your blog readers and you really motivate a lot….I really loved to read this post and which is mainly because of the way you have said the story of that balloon seller….

  2. Hello Charmie,Yup indeed agree with your statement that “Small attitude” will make such big difference and we should maintain it to some extent and should not involve into our work or blogging,

    BTW Merry Christmas!

  3. New attitude to my blog in the new year. The right attitude may be all the needed difference to make your blog succeed and just as the year is about to end, everything i have been doing that has not in any way improved my blog will be dropped. I can’t agree less with you on the points raised.
Keep writing great contents, i always enjoy reading from you.

  4. Hello Ahishek,

  6. Hello Charmie,

Went through your post, and I must say it was a good read. That nice little story and the moral at its end was catchy. It gave me signal that the article could contain something even better!

Sure enough, I found quality in your write up. Yeah, you’ve jotted down some things that every blogger must ponder about. These small ‘attitude-adjustments’ can have profound effect on the overall outcome!

Point #4, hypothetical thinking is something I can relate very well to. Because I’ve had trysts with it. In the past, especially when I was a newbie blogger, I used to bump into lots of problems (related to blogging).

Soon, while solving these problems, hypothetical assumption would kick into action. And I used to get so mislead by it that I used to stray away from reality. Sooner or later, when reality would come crashing down upon me, I used to feel depressed and dejected!

Slowly, with conscious efforts, I tied a rope over the neck of such assumptions. I still rely on it, but well within the boundaries of rational thinking!

Whoaa, I was just sharing my experience… I think I wrote too big (and boring) a comment! 🙂

    Good write up Charmie!

First of all, Nice post, it kept me motivated throughout the post. Another thing, I loved the way you started your opening with a beautiful story and a beautiful message \’Attiude is what really matters\’.The only thing which I found a lil\’ bit disturbing is about the article\’s heading. In blogosphere, many bloggers dont use (…!!!) thing, they simply use a (!) to denote the expression of title. I guess you are an avid user of facebook (since this is mostly used in chats). So to give a more professional look towards your blog and towards to post I hope you should apply this thing. Or in another way, you can moderate the whole title and rename it as \’Why you should resolute your blog with a proper attitude in 2014\” this sounds more appealing and professional.
